I spent most of my weekend picking up perennials from the Flamborough Horticultural Society, herbs and tomatoes, sheep manure and soil. Then I played in the dirt. Three days of being dirty and digging and watering (because it didn’t actually rain enough on Saturday; just gloomy). Soo happy!!

We also got freshly picked asparagus from Freelton, off Concession Road 10. We got the 2nd’s (slightly bent) because they were only $1.25/lb. Cost us 35c for dinner … wow! Soo good!!!!
