Belgian Cookies

This was the recipe mom made with her friend Lizzie – we love them at Christmas!

  • ½ lb butter
  • ¾ cup white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp white vanilla (with with egg)

Roll and cut into mini stars. Bake 10 min at 350F. Fill with raspberry jam and ice with glaze (it’s just icing sugar and a few drops of hot water). Top with a half a red maraschino cherry.
